I have now entered the world of google docs.. I have used them (experimentally) with my coaching staff on the sharing of ideas to create a draft required for athletic performance.

I think students could use google docs to interact or collaborate on projects or problem sets.
Could be used instead of wiki or in tandem with wikis.
I see the use of voice thread in presenting multiple ideas and allowing students to give feed back on topics in any area.

Of Interest?

In a never ending pursuit of new and different ways to bring science to our students, I have taken on the wonderful world of Online Education.. I have been using moodle as delivery system, taking my physics curriculum from class and adapting it as best I can (with minimal training).
I have survived one semester.. I was satisfied with the way the material was presented but need to find other options.. I was not satisfied with test and problem solving strategies.. I need to be able to "see" students ideas and strategies for problem solving. I do not want to resort to multiple choice type book driven tests.

Introduction

I am a 31 year veteran science teacher.. That means I have a lot of ideas.. some good but most old! This blog is an assignment of mine for an online tech class.
